Pinz, age 79, of Mount Prospect, beloved husband of the late Joyce, nee Pedersen; dear father of George (the late Brenda), Joan, Michael(Susan) and Oscar(Ruth); loving grandfather of eleven; brother of the late Greg Pinz. Visitation Monday 4 to 9 P.m. at Michalik Funeral Home, 1056 W. Chicago Avenue.,Chicago. Family and friends will gather Tuesday for a 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 410 Washington St., Oak Park. Memeber of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. My prayers to you and your family as you walk through this time. I was lucky to have known your father and we had some nice walks/talks through the halls of SAA on occasion. I was a new parent last year to the school and meeting him was a special blessing. He was very strong and even though he faced the adversity of his illness, he still committed himself to a positive outlook. I am grateful for those chats and will remember your father with a fond appreciation.
